Opposites Attract | Greek vs. English
Create something beautiful from two distinctly different things.
After much thought, I decided I wanted to base this project around my split cultural backgrounds, Greek and English. One the of main differences between the two cultures is the language. Being bilingual, I often get asked the question what language do I mainly think in
I think in both. Whilst studying both alphabets, I extracted characteristics from each one and started mixing them up, just like the way I think. As a response to my idea, I created a series of posters, visually representing different situations I come across everyday, through a mixture of the two alphabet’s. Each poster has a specific percentage of each language, depending on the amount of each language I use to think in for each of the different scenarios.
